Almost 20 years ago, cancer killed the mother of my children. Upon learning the diagnosis I decided, in solidarity with her, to modify my diet. I can testify that a diet based on vegetables, grains, and fruits, and away from dairy products, sugars and meats, extended her life, beyond the doctors' forecasts. I am a firm believer that healthy eating and taking good care of the body are ingredients for a healthy life.
Years later I had the good fortune of meeting Irmgard. She is a magnificent cook, very knowledgeable of vegan and vegetarian dishes. She will share them with you, dear readers.
